Celebrate the 4th in Vermont
There are so many incredible ways to celebrate July 4th in Vermont. From parades, fireworks, and festivals, there is something for everyone. See below for a few fun things I found happening around the state. Please note, these are just a few suggestions as there are many many more events happening all around…you just gotta search for them.
If you’re looking to watch a parade (these are just a few suggestions):
Killington, VT: 10am (River Road)
Wardsboro, VT: 10am (Main Street)
South Hero, VT: 11am (South Street)
Colchester, VT: 10am (starting at Colchester High School)
If you’re looking for food and music:
Woodstock, VT: 4th on the Farm
Lots of fun with wagon rides, animals, an old-fashioned baseball game, a spelling bee, food, and live music.
Raffle, live music, kid field games, Fireman’s BBQ, and Fireworks
Stowe has everything from a parade starting at 10am, to a full day of fun with food, live music on the Village green and more.
Fireworks over Lake Champlain in Burlington
If you’re looking for fireworks:
Live music, classic barbeque food and drink - fun for all!
Family-friendly events, live music, food trucks, with fireworks to close out the night.
Head to the mountain to watch the fireworks after a Dave Matthews Tribe Band plays.
On July 3rd, Burlington’s waterfront comes to life with food trucks, live music, and fireworks set off from the water - enjoy with a view of the lake.
Enjoy your 4th celebrations and don’t forget to tell me how you celebrated!
